Funny enough I got in touch with one of those criminals in the British army who served in the Kenyan commonwealth(!) It was in answer to a bizarre ad I placed in Bound and Gagged magazine back when it was around, and I got a letter from someone calling himself "The Torture Man" from somewhere in west Canada. Funny enough he would also sign his later letters "Terence". His letters were usually poorly written but described luridly exactly what went on in those camps. Also told me about the "Sierras" -- some enslavement sceme that lured unwitting bottoms to be sold to (hear this Kfir Alfia!) rich Arabs. This was often written about in various leather-mags under the guise of fiction...

Haven't heard from him in years. Wrote he was going back to Africa, for what reason I wouldn't know....

PW forum still not working. Clean-up job? They still won't admit their forum is essentially a disgrace.

I've plenty more questions for them. What if the next president is a Democrat? Do they hang-it-up and call it a day? Or hold protests against that president? Basically their agenda isn't working 'cos the low numbers cons have in the polls, which (IMO) has less to do with Foley than that it's clearer Bush lied about Iraq. Methinks they should come up with better rationale for the reason of this war.

End of an era? End of a movement? End of Aesthetic Nihilism? Is that what this book (Creation) suggests?

Well the book itself isn't bad. The limited edition portfolio has an envelope from Petros and Adam Parfrey that's sure to please Kfir Alfia (ho ho ho!) This is more like a who's who deal than another Apocalypse Culture. With allusions to 9-11 where it seems apocalypse is already here, in all it's sneering cynicism and arrogance. This doesn't at all reflect any artful innocence, but now today's art just seems less and less original and real and nothing shocks anymore -- with Ann Coul-tard railing on ad nauseum.
