Referring to a book I just read by Lars Gorling. Of course from Grove Press with a dingy photograph on the cover that could've come from an old issue of Avant Garde. The copyright says 1966 but the story takes place 13 years earlier. About a group of petty thiefs in Sweden being sent to a home for the purpose of reform, except they keep stealing and doing other criminal acts. This book seems to have a whiff of an anti-left slant, methinks. It doesn't get depraved until the last third, with a counselor molesting the main character, a child being raped and a prostitute being brought into the home...
