The classic slop they love...

Funny enough there's this show I usually hate but is sometimes alright, called "The World Cafe". (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4724307 *cough*) Anyways today's show had the author of a book listing the most depressing songs ever -- i.e. not just sad but tawdry and/or with the feeling of utter hopelessness. But what made me happy was that the band Counting Crows made it on the list -- don't know what song, but they played it anyways and was indeed whiney and overwought despite some surprisingly good guitar considering the genre they're in always has to include EXTREMELY inept guitar parts...

This is only because I HATE that rednecksy, sneering right-wing band. Ever since the frontman castigated the Rolling Stone and Bruce Springsteen for their "anti-Bush" bias. Just like Three Doors Down, pure goober musical-mush for retards everywhere. Now touring with Buffalo's yawnsome Goo Goo Dolls, of which the name is probably revealatory of the actual baby-like mental capacity of their drunk-on-Pabst fan-base. Makes me want to THROW UP! Yech.
